Week of Mar 22

Sun, Mar 22
Panera with D&J; Dad had a large manila envelope full of pictures of him from age 6 through joining the Army and he said he’s trying to track down the Evers’ genealogy.
Chris home from Vegas!
Mom and Keila went to see Bedtime Stories at the dollar movies.
Keila continued to work on her Inca temple extra credit project.
Chicken soft tacos for dinner.

Mon, Mar 23
First day back to work after a week staycation. I had 857 emails and double the amount of QA in my queue as I usually have.
Paradise for lunch; tried the club sandwich instead of my regular Southwest Chicken Cesar salad. It was good!
Chicken noodle soup and toasted cheese sandwiches for dinner.
Ms. Cassie said Michael slept an extra hour at naptime. He was extremely chatty all night.
Made banana bread with ½ cup of chocolate chips instead of walnuts (since Michael can’t have them.)

Tue, Mar 24
KL orthodontist appointment (Dr. Reed). Her adult teeth are pretty much doing what he hoped they would. Go back in 6 months.
Ordered free Shutterfly book of Michael’s third year (age 2)
Ran errands at lunch (Target & Office Depot) and ate a peanut butter bagel.
“Quick” spaghetti for dinner
Watched Celebrity Apprentice

Went to gym-Step it Up Plus class
Paradise club and potato soup for lunch.
Keila-band concert (Chris, Michael and I, mom and dad and Joni all went); Keila’s friend Mischa Lund’s drawing on cover of program.

Thu, Mar 26
All 5 of us went to Panera before work; Kyle walked home with his, Michael ate his at daycare and Keila came to work with me until lunch time.
Work closed at 1pm; Primrose closed at 4:30.
The National Weather Service officially measured 7.8 inches of snow in Denver from the storm but many metro neighborhoods saw accumulations ranging from 8 to 15 inches.

Work on normal business hours; Primrose opened at 7:30am.

Michael ordered his own breakfast at Panera-cinnamon roll and cream cheese

Kyle went to see Cassidy and they went shopping at Crossroads Mall

Fri- First day of spring
Sat- MD haircut, library, MicroCenter clinic re: system backup, Tokyo Joe’s and Maggie Moo’s with mom for dinner

Received phone call from Liberty re: Keila’s cell phone found in gym. Office looked up “Mom” in the cell phone’s contact list and called me to see whose phone it was. Pretty clever!

Michael story-Chris has been giving Michael money for helping with the trash and what not. Michael had some coins to put in his bank and on his way up the stairs he asked Chris if he was going to give me money because I was cooking dinner.

Scheduled interview with RPS for next Wednesday at 1:00.
Had to get tough with Janet to get next Monday through Wednesday off even though she had previously approved it.
Lunch at sauce.

Sat, Mar 14
Took Kyle to have blood drawn for derm appt next Tuesday.
Kyle went to Panera with us.
Got Michael some Power Rangers and a T-Rex at Target.

Celebrated Mom’s birthday with Jeannie, Randy, Stephanie and Ben. We went to Ruby Tuesday’s for dinner then back to Randy & Stephanie’s for lemon pie from Marie Calendar’s and presents.

Keila – annual doctor’s appt; 60 ½ lbs, 54 ¾ in, -5 percentile; immunizations: Hep A, Gardasil, flu shot
Michael had the Show and Share bucket for the letter “S”. He took Stegasaurus, screw drivers,
Shark Tale, a shovel, a saw, Stretch (from Handy Manny), and a spoon.
Mac cheese and chicken nuggets for dinner
Found pictures of that big Christmas snow storm, and a whole bunch of family pictures from when I was growing up.

Wed, Mar 4
Scheduled interview for Institutional Account Manager position; Friday at 9:30 with Roman Fresquez (Assistant Manger Plan Services) and Jan Ankele (Manager Plan Services)
Bought Michael another Cars book and Curious George book at Primrose’s book fair.
Red Robin for lunch
Chicken noodle soup and toasted cheese sandwiches for dinner
Michael said he “doesn’t trace his letters very well”; he’s in with the older kids so he probably doesn’t, but I don’t want him to feel bad
When we picked Michael up the kids were outside he jumped into Chris’ arms and said, “I had a good day!”

Ben is coming to our house next Saturday to play with Michael.
Michael started saying, “You know what Mommy?” I must say that to him a lot.

Mon, Feb 23
Michael had to go to the office to help him calm down. He was rough housing with Lucas (?) and when Ms. Kelly asked him to stop he didn’t and was sent to the brown carpet (for not listening.) He cried, “I’ll be good!” That makes me sad.

Vegetable soup for dinner; forgot to photograph for our cookbook.
I love the hair at Michael’s neck. It’s still “baby” hair and so soft and fine.
