Sun, Apr 26
Swine flu public emergency declared.
Chris worked about 5 hours
Michael and I went to the Target in Parker (so we could get his hair cut), did some shopping and filled Kyle’s prescription. We made it until 10 when Snip-Its opened but Michael didn’t want a hair cut after we bought him a toy. He wanted to go home and play!
Chris and I saw State of Play.
Roast, carrots, potatoes and green beans for dinner; mom stayed.
Watched Celebrity Apprentice; Melissa Rivers fired.

Mon, Apr 27

Kyle missed the bus.
Lunch-Wendy’s/bank

Michael was calling bad (not nice) names at daycare. He told Miss Cassie he was going to tell me on her :D

Wed, Apr 29
Placed ScanCafe order (10% off) and submitted paragraph about how ScanCafe has touched my life for an additional 3% off. (It’s 5% if you make them cry, but I don’t think mine will :D.)
WHO (World Health Organization) raises swine flu pandemic level to 5; second highest level, meaning that it believes a global outbreak of the disease is imminent.
Looked at cars for Kyle at lunch & mailed ScanCafe order.
Papa John’s for dinner
Chris researched cars
Made banana bread (Banana-Oat Quick Bread from June 2000 Cooking Light, Sowing Your Oats); came out of the pan perfectly!

National Scrapbooking Day; spent $34.13 over the weekend (Love to the Sea, Welcome to the Zoo!, Dingy Boy Kit, No. 2, Photo Edge FX, NSD Grab Bag, Biggest Fan Kit, Biggest Fan Date Stamp, Confessions class, Life 365: Attach It 3, Border It 5, Ransom Notes Dates, Scrap Box 1, Puzzled)
KT-AP World History final 7:30-noon; he got a 79 and the class average was 77
Michael got a haircut
Dinner at Mom’s for birthday’s; spaghetti pie, garlic bread, corn, cole slaw & choc pie
Chris told Michael he was cute and Michael’s response was that he wasn’t cute, he’s sweet
